S01E04 - Dr. Lloyd Hoffman, Preeminent Plastic Surgeon

Podcast Logo episode 04_600x536.png

September 21, 2020 - In the world of plastic surgery, Dr. Lloyd Hoffman needs no introduction. In 1987 at 30 years of age, Dr. Hoffman became the youngest chief of a plastic surgery program in history. After a long and distinguished chairmanship at Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, Dr. Hoffman was an extremely successful private plastic surgeon on the Upper East Side for many more years.

Dr. Hoffman recently returned to Columbia University Medical Center as an Associate Professor, resuming teaching responsibilities as well as working with the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York (https://www.laserskinsurgery.com/dermatologists/dr-lloyd-hoffman/)

Beloved by his residents, honored by his peers, Dr. Hoffman continues to share his wisdom and life experiences. Having managed over 15 thousand patients and counting, it was truly an honor to have shared some time with one of the true stalwarts in the plastic surgery world.

(This long-delayed podcast episode had production issues, which you will note. After wrestling with them sporadically for several months with limited ability, I decided not to wait any longer. My apologies for any technical issues and I hope they do not detract from Dr. Hoffman's fascinating thoughts.)
