In the world of plastic surgery, Dr. Lloyd Hoffman needs no introduction. In 1987 at 30 years of age, Dr. Hoffman became the youngest chief of a plastic surgery program in history. After a long and distinguished chairmanship at Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, Dr. Hoffman was an extremely successful private plastic surgeon on the Upper East Side for many more years.

We were classmates back in the 90s at Columbia University's medical school, Columbia's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Jess was valedictorian of the class, and as you will hear, he has continued on to great achievements.

Tim Carroll is a high level CrossFit athlete (former 4x Regionals athlete), former professional GRID league captain, and owner of CrossFit 908 (now 908 Athletics) Berkeley Heights NJ and 908 Central, Westfield NJ. In addition, June 2012 he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, making him one of over 25 million Americans with this health challenge.
When you listen to Tim, you have no doubt he has already faced his share of challenges and will continue to do so with great success in the future. I have great respect for Tim Carroll, and it was a pleasure to talk to him about accomplishments in his life, his health, and his business.

When I think of highly successful and yet grounded individuals, today's guest Kathleen Staunton is at the top of my list.
My friend Kathleen is the highest ranked athlete at our gym Crossfit Bison, Midland Park NJ. She has made the top 200 two years running in her age division in the CrossFit Open competition.
She is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who works full time for a large multidisciplinary group in internal medicine.
We talk about medicine, work-life balance, injury recovery, optimizing training and of course the 2020 CF Open and AGOQ (Age Group Online Qualifier).
